Isabella's current practice involves work in the field of intellectual property law and is currently focused on drafting and prosecuting patents. Her technical speciality is in the fields of biochemistry and biotechnology, e.g. microbiology, immunology, plant biology, molecular genetics, cancer research, human gene research and virology.
Education
Isabella studied Biology at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany, and graduated in 2003. She continued as a graduate student at the university and obtained her Ph.D. with a thesis in microbial ecology in 2008.
Professional experience
Between 2008 and 2010, she was employed as a technical assistant in the Huber & Schüssler law firm including placements at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf (Patent Division), Germany. She qualified as a German Patent Attorney in 2011. In 2008 she joined as a member of Eurattorneys EEIG in Munich, Germany.
