Main activities
Tamara is qualified as a professional representative before the European Patent Office. She mostly deals with drafting and prosecution of patent applications, as well as prior art searches, with particular focus on the Food sector.
Education
She graduated in Food Science at the University of Reading (UK) in 1998 and subsequently obtained a Masters in Food Production and Management from the University of Nottingham (UK) and a Ph.D. from the University of Reading (UK) in the School of Food Biosciences, working on the enzymatic manufacture of bioactive oligosaccharides.
Professional experience
She joined Botti & Ferrari in 2003. Prior to that she had done a two-week work placement at Boult Wade Tennant in London (UK) during the summer of 2002. In November 2005, she was awarded a certificate for attending the on line course on “Introduction to the UPOV System of Plant Variety Protection under the UPOV Convention” organized by the WIPO Worldwide Academy. In 2007 she joined as a member of Eurattorneys EEIG in Munich, Germany.
